Chelsea playmaker Cole Palmer has departed the England camp following injury.
Palmer is to return for more medical tests, Chelsea said.
The 22-year-old failed to feature in Arsenal’s 1-0 defeat against Arsenal on Sunday due to an injury sustained during training.
Palmer was called in by New England boss Thomas Tuchel for his first games in charge.
However, a statement revealed that Palmer “remains with Chelsea for further assessment on an injury sustained in training ahead of his club’s fixture at Arsenal last Sunday”.
Morgan Gibbs-White has already been called up to replace Palmer.
The Nottingham Forest employee was a shock omission from Tuchel’s first team.
