According to football market analyst Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Leicester City are almost done with their negotiations for manager Enzo Maresca.
Pochettino was fired by Chelsea following the final Premier League Match Day, even though the Argentine managed to get them into Europe.
Since then, they have been looking for a quality manager to take the helm of the Blues for the upcoming campaign.
After Leicester City was demoted to the Championship the previous season, Enzo Maresca guided them to an instant return to the Premier League.
Romano stated that both teams had reached an agreement on a deal worth roughly 10 million euros.
He said: “Chelsea and Leicester are going to finalize the deal for Enzo Maresca; it will come with a price tag of approximately €10 million.
Clubs will also agree on a staff price; a contract will be completed in the coming days.
“As reported today, everything is finalized between Maresca and Chelsea on a contract until 2029 + option.”
