Cristiano Ronaldo Signs New Al Nassr Contract

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly set to extend his stay at Al Nassr with a lucrative new contract, as he keeps his sights on the 2026 World Cup, according to Marca.

The Portuguese star has agreed to continue with the Saudi Pro League club for two more seasons, with the second year dependent on performance and mutual agreement.

This new deal would see the five-time Ballon d’Or winner remain in Riyadh at least until 2026, perfectly aligning with his ambition to represent Portugal at the next World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Although discussions had been ongoing for several months and were initially expected to conclude back in January, the finalization took longer due to the unique structure of the contract.

Unlike standard player agreements, this deal includes commercial, ambassadorial, and developmental aspects, making negotiations more intricate.

Ronaldo’s updated contract is expected to be worth as much as €200 million annually.
