Manchester United host Arsenal at Old Trafford in the largest English Premier League (EPL) match this weekend.
The match will be staged on Sunday evening at 5.30 p.m., Nigerian time.
Manchester United approach the match having won their last Premier League game 3-2 against Ipswich Town, while Arsenal drew 0-0 with Nottingham Forest.
These two sides last met in the Premier League in December last year.
The Red Devils lost 2-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium through Jurrien Timber and William Saliba strikes.
The Gunners will, however, look to cut the 16-point gap to Premier League pacesetters Liverpool when they host Manchester United in the evening.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will also hope to complete a league double over United.
Arteta has already conceded that United can produce a good performance against Arsenal, having seen them take on Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.
There are no new injury issues for Arteta. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are still out, as well as Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, and Takehiro Tomiyasu, all of whom have suffered long-term injuries.
Myles Lewis-Skelly has served his one-match ban for a red card against West Ham United in February and is now available for domestic duty.
Manchester United, though, will be looking to avoid another loss when they play Arsenal, who beat them in the reverse fixture last term.
They sit 15th in the Premier League standings with 33 points from 27 games.
Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte were out for the Real Sociedad visit following injuries they suffered in the loss to Fulham, further compounding the problem for Man United manager Ruben Amorim, and Patrick Dorgu, signed in January, is suspended after seeing red in the Ipswich Town loss.
Amad Diallo (ankle) and Kobbie Mainoo (calf) will miss the encounter due to injuries for Amorim, and several months away have been Mason Mount, Jonny Evans, and Luke Shaw.
Lisandro Martinez will miss the rest of the season after undergoing ACL surgery, with stand-in goalkeepers Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton ruled out as well.
A win for United would lift Amorim’s side from 15th place on the log.
Also, a win for Arsenal would see Arteta’s side complete a league double over United and cut the deficit on Liverpool to 13 points on the log.
