Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim may have to make do without Matheus Cunha for Monday’s Premier League fixture against Everton.
According to ESPN, Cunha sustained an injury during training.
The Brazilian reportedly picked up a “minor knock” during a session on Saturday.
The injury caused him to miss a planned appearance to switch on Christmas lights in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, that evening.
Fortunately, the issue is not considered serious.
Amorim will be eager to have Cunha fit, especially after already losing striker Benjamin Sesko to a knee injury.
Since joining from Wolves for £62.5 million, Cunha has managed just one goal in 11 appearances.
