Peter Crouch, who previously played for Liverpool F.C. and Tottenham Hotspur F.C., has said he would gladly pay to watch two Chelsea F.C. players in action.
Crouch made the remark after Chelsea’s recent 4–1 Premier League victory over Aston Villa F.C..
Chelsea secured a convincing win against Aston Villa on Wednesday night, with João Pedro scoring a hat-trick and Cole Palmer adding another goal.
The result brings Chelsea closer to their top-four rivals, Aston Villa and Manchester United F.C., reducing the gap to just three points with nine matches still to be played before the Premier League season ends.
“I would pay money to watch them, Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer,” Crouch said on TNT Sports before asking Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior about Pedro’s potential.
“It’s scary, scary,” Rosenior said of Pedro.
“His mentality as well, he is a warrior. He is a fantastic footballer, but he is strong and physical as well.”
