Josh Maja, a West Bromwich Albion forward, aspires to score more goals for the club after scoring a hat-trick against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
The Nigerian scored all three goals for Albion in their 3-1 triumph at the MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium.
Maja scored two spectacular headers, with the other goal an acrobatic finish from inside the box.
Injury limited the forward’s appearances for West Brom last season.
He believes the hat-trick is only the beginning of “something special.”
“I’m overjoyed to have scored three goals and be available, especially because last season was difficult for me.
“We’re beginning over. I am fit and available, which is a blessing. Hopefully, there will be many more goals and wins to come.
“I was at the proper place and time, and I was clinical.
“I believe the second header was my fave. That type of finish is not something I’m known for, but I’ve managed to incorporate it into my game.
