Klopp Shuts Down Real Madrid Rumors, Happy at Red Bull

Jürgen Klopp has made it clear that he is “very happy” in his current position at Red Bull, dismissing rumors of a possible return to management with Real Madrid.

Klopp stepped down as Liverpool manager at the end of last season. In January, he took on a new role as Red Bull’s Global Head of Soccer, overseeing clubs such as RB Leipzig, the New York Red Bulls, and Brazil’s Bragantino.

Speculation about Klopp potentially replacing Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid emerged following the Spanish club’s recent Champions League exit. Klopp’s name has been floated as one of the potential candidates for the position.

However, his agent, Marc Kosicke, downplayed the rumors and confirmed Klopp is content with his current responsibilities.

“Jurgen is very happy with his new role with Red Bull,” Kosicke told Sky Deutschland.

RB Leipzig coach Zsolt Löw also weighed in on the matter, expressing doubt that Klopp would leave his current job. “I could not imagine him moving to Real Madrid,” Löw said, adding that Klopp is “very happy in the job.”

For now, Klopp appears focused on his broader responsibilities within the Red Bull football group, rather than returning to club management.
