Marcus Rashford has shared his excitement after earning a recall to the England squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Albania and Latvia.
The Aston Villa forward, who had been left out of previous squads under former manager Gareth Southgate, took to Instagram to express his joy.
“Never stop believing. Can’t wait to get started,” Rashford posted.
England’s new manager, Thomas Tuchel, has named his first squad since taking charge, with key stars like Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, and Phil Foden leading the selection. Chelsea’s Reece James also returns after recovering from injury.
The goalkeeping lineup remains consistent, featuring Jordan Pickford (Everton), Aaron Ramsdale (Southampton), Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace), and James Trafford (Burnley).
Tuchel’s defensive selection includes a mix of experience and young talent, with Kyle Walker (AC Milan), Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace), and Reece James (Chelsea) among the seasoned names. In midfield, Tuchel has called up Declan Rice (Arsenal) and Jordan Henderson (Ajax) for leadership, while creative options include Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace), Curtis Jones (Liverpool), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa), and Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid).
