Manchester United’s goalkeeper André Onana is adamant that he will stay with the Premier League outfit beyond this summer, despite outcry about his performances in goal.
Onana joined from Inter Milan before Erik ten Hag’s 2023-24 season.
Although the Cameroon international suffered a terrible first half to the term, he did show flashes of brilliance during his inaugural season at the Red Devils and kept the No.1 jersey.
But his second Old Trafford season has not been without hiccups, with some recent mistakes.
Despite speculation that Onana was heading out, the Manchester Evening News says the 28-year-old has made remaining at the club his top priority.
Such ambitions could be in conflict with head coach Rúben Amorim’s plans of signing a new goalkeeper during the summer transfer window.
