Aston Villa, are allegedly nearing an agreement to sign former Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley from Luton Town.
Barkley, who was formerly connected to Manchester United as a possible Casemiro substitute, now seems certain to join Villa as they get ready for the Champions League following their fourth-place finish in the Premier League.
Barkley, who joined Luton as a free agent last summer and made an impression, has stated that he wants to play in Europe and the Premier League again.
The Guardian reports that Barkley is keen to establish himself once again in the elite division as the transfer draws closer to conclusion.
Barkley declared, “I want to play in the Premier League.”
“I want to perform in Europe once more. I believe that I might still be in my peak for the next three years.
