Former England striker, Alan Shearer, has been quoted as saying that Arsenal still has a slight advantage in the Premier League title race.
Although Manchester City won their match against Newcastle and are now only two points behind, Shearer believes that Mikel Arteta’s team will ultimately win the title.
If Arsenal win their match against Tottenham in the North London Derby on Sunday, they will be able to regain their five-point advantage at the top of the table.
Shearer said in an interview with Premier League Productions, “Manchester City have been in this kind of position before.
“They have lots of quality players and their team knows exactly how to win.
“I still believe Arsenal might just have a slight advantage.”
