Former Ajax and Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has indicated that he will not take a new role until July 1.
Ten Hag has not worked since being fired by the Red Devils in October.
The Dutchman has since been succeeded by Ruben Amorim, who is also not faring well at Old Trafford, with the club now ranked 15th.
Amorim replaced Ten Hag during the international break in November and has not been able to put his imprint on the club.
Ten Hag has now gone on record as saying that he will not be managing any side in the midst of a campaign.
“I had told myself, right, I’m not doing anything until the first of July,” he explained in a brief clip from an interview for SEG Stories soon to be released.
He goes on, “If there is one thing I miss, it’s Old Trafford.”
“You’re always moving towards a dot on the horizon, but you never reach it.”.
“We’ve had a lot of highs, but there’s always room to grow, and good isn’t good enough. “You can do better.”
