Transfer: Saudi Arabia Targets Vinicius Jr to Join Ronaldo

Vinicius Junior, a Real Madrid winger, has been offered a lucrative contract to join Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League, The Athletic claims.

Vinicius is regarded as one of the world’s top footballers, having helped Los Blancos win both the LaLiga and the Champions League last season.

It is thought that a Public Investment Fund (PIF) delegation working on behalf of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Sport has engaged with Vinicius’ representatives about a potential future move.

They want Vinicius to join Ronaldo in the Middle East to improve the reputation of their league.

A move like this would make the Brazilian international the new face of the Saudi Pro League.

Saudi officials are anxious to bring in another major signing before the kingdom hosts the World Cup finals in 2034.

Vinicius may be out of reach for the time being, since he has a contract with Real Madrid that runs until 2027 and includes a €1 billion (£856 million/$1.1 billion) release clause.
