Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has been declared fit and is available for selection in Saturday’s crucial Turkish Super Lig derby against Besiktas.
Earlier concerns about Osimhen’s availability emerged after he suffered a muscle injury while on international duty earlier this week.
However, the 26-year-old Nigerian forward returned to full training with the squad on Friday, clearing any doubts over his participation in the Istanbul derby.
Osimhen has been in exceptional form, scoring eight goals in his last five league matches for the Yellow and Reds.
His prolific scoring run has made him the Turkish Super Lig’s leading goalscorer this season, netting 20 goals in just 22 appearances.
Galatasaray currently lead the Turkish Super Lig standings, accumulating 71 points from 27 matches.
