Ado-Ekiti locals are currently fearful and apprehensive after dare-devil shooters shot and killed a middle-aged woman again on Saturday morning.
According to our correspondent, the incident occurred at 7 a.m. at a junction near the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti Continuing Education Center, off NTA Road in Ado Ekiti.
Recall that four people were shot dead by gunmen in Ado-Ekiti in recent weeks under identical circumstances.
According to locals, the attackers arrived on a bike and attempted to steal the woman’s bag while she was standing by the road.
The deceased resisted the attack before being overpowered and shot. The incident sparked panic in the area, with many fleeing for safety. Many traders quickly closed their stores and fled the site.
