Bola Tinubu, President, condemned the recent bomb attacks in Borno State as desperate acts of terror, underscoring them as indicators of mounting pressure against terrorists and successes in degrading their offensive capabilities.
The attacks, which tragically occurred in Gwoza Local Government Area, resulted in significant loss of life and injuries to civilians.
Expressing strong condemnation, Tinubu emphasized that perpetrators of such wanton violence will face justice unequivocally, asserting that these cowardly acts represent isolated incidents. In a statement released by his media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, on Sunday, Tinubu reaffirmed his government’s resolve to prevent the nation from descending into fear and suffering.
Tinubu pledged intensified efforts to secure citizens, promising robust measures to eradicate those who threaten national peace, perpetrate loss of life, and disrupt law and order.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the victims, their families, and the people of Borno State affected by these attacks,” stated President Tinubu.
