BREAKING: Tinubu Swears in Eight New Permanent Secretaries

President Bola Tinubu has swore in a new group of Permanent Secretaries for the Federal Civil Service.

The swearing-in event preceded the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting, which he is also currently chairing.

The President based the appointment of the permanent secretaries on the necessity to fill current and upcoming vacancies in several states and geopolitical zones in the senior administrative cadre of the Federation’s Civil Service.

Recall that the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation conducted a thorough selection procedure for the new permanent secretaries, which included a written examination, an ICT competence test, and an interactive session with a wide range of stakeholders.

At the conclusion of the exercise, eight directors from the Federal Civil Service cleared the hurdles and were named Permanent Secretaries.
