Dr. Doyin Okupe, a former presidential aide, has reportedly died.
The veteran politician died at the age of 72.
Dr. Okupe died on Friday morning after a prolonged illness suspected to be cancer.
Okupe was appointed Director-General of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign for the 2023 election in 2022.
He was, however, forced to resign after he was convicted by a court for money laundering alleged.
Okupe was also seriously sick in the weeks leading up to his death, the family sources indicated.
