President Bola Tinubu has sent a message of condolence to the people and administration of Zamfara State, following the recent flooding in Gummi Local administration Area and the death of over 40 farmers in a weekend boat tragedy.
This was contained in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
Tinubu has pledged to stand in solidarity with the victims of the two sad tragedies.
Also, the President directed emergency agencies to embark on a detailed investigation of the two incidents to unravel the cause of the disaster.
President Tinubu also directed response agencies to partner with the Zamfara State Government for the succor of victims of the disaster, it said.
