Minister of State for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, described President Bola Tinubu as the epitome of wealth, who would not loot from Nigeria’s resources.
Olawande spoke at the Joint Union Negotiating Council’s week at the Federal Ministry of Youth Development branch in Abuja.
The minister urged Nigerians to be patient with the president, as there will be an unprecedented transformation.
He said, “I urge you to be patient with this administration. In no distant time, the country will take good shape and the lives of the citizens will be transformed.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not a pauper; he is an acknowledged epitome of wealth and so it cannot be said of him that he desires to loot the treasury of Nigeria.
He said: “He has seen money and because of this, he is not interested in looting the nation’s treasury”.
He stated that the administration was doing a lot to better the lives of Nigerians through various governmental programmes.
Olawande hailed the ministry workforce for standing by government programmes and gave an assurance that their welfare would be taken care of.
