Ukraine Faces Over 1,300 Bombs, 1,000 Drones in One Week – Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed that most regions in Ukraine have recently faced intensified attacks from the Russian Army.

Zelensky disclosed via his official X handle on Sunday that in the past week alone, Ukraine faced approximately 1,310 Russian guided aerial bombs, more than 1,000 attack drones, primarily “Shaheds,” and nine missiles, including ballistic types.

However, Zelensky emphasized that many of these weapons “were successfully shot down by our air defense warriors, mobile fire groups, and all units involved in protecting our skies.”

Referring to a recent strike in Kharkiv on Saturday, Zelensky confirmed the attack “sadly took the lives of two people.”

He accused Russia of intentionally prolonging the conflict, pledging that Ukraine would continue providing its “partners with full information on the strikes the Russian army is carrying out and the actions it is preparing for.”

“We expect a response from the United States, Europe and all our allies to this terror against our people,” Zelensky added.

The President also expressed gratitude to “all the leaders and states who understand this and continue their support,” highlighting that the “stability and predictability of support for Ukraine are crucial.”
