Arteta Confirms When Saka Will Return from Injury

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed when Bukayo Saka will return to action for the Gunners.

Arteta addressed reporters following Arsenal’s 1ā€“1 Premier League draw at Manchester United on Sunday.

Saka has not played since the last 11 weeks due to a hamstring problem, having missed some of Arteta’s side’s games, including Sunday’s game at Old Trafford.

Speaking on Saka’s return, Arteta responded in his post-match conference: “After the international break, we’ll see where he is. He’s feeling great.

“He’s quite willing. We are confident that he will return within a few weeks.

Meanwhile, goals by Bruno Fernandes and Declan Rice had Manchester United and Arsenal each drawing a point.”.

The win puts Arsenal two positions higher than them in second place in the Premier League, 15 points behind leaders Liverpool.

Arsenal welcome PSV to the return leg of their Champions League last-16 tie in midweek.

The north Londoners overcame their opponents to claim the first leg 7-1 last week.
