Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has named Alejandro Garnacho as one to commend following their 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Sunday.
After the game, Amorim stated that Argentine winger Garnacho “played a complete game.”
Garnacho did not score, though, as Bruno Fernandes gave United the lead before Declan Rice equalised for Arsenal.
Amorim was pleased that his team scored the opening goal early and believed that they had enough chances to win the game.
He told BBC Match of the Day: “It helps when you score a goal and don’t suffer [concede first]; you can feel the energy in the stadium.
“At this moment, we are trying to win games and stay compact. We were very close to scoring in the second half.
“We were really competitive, and I think that is important. We pushed forward rather than sitting back.
“We had some opportunities to win the game. Arsenal put a lot of men inside the box to defend, and I think Alejandro Garnacho played a complete game, which helped us a lot.”
