Olatunde Kolapo, the chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress’s (NLC) Ekiti State chapter, has instructed the state’s affiliate union leaders to guarantee that all unions fully comply with the national strike as instructed by the NLC’s national council.
Newsmen in Ado Ekiti were given access to a statement by Kolapo, which stated that any affiliate union that disobeys the order will be considered a saboteur.
Until additional orders from the national body, all workers are to remain at home, according to the decision of the NLC Chairman.
In order to oversee the process, he asked all affiliate union leaders to gather at the NLC secretariat by eight on Monday morning.
